A CHANT FOR MY NATION By {… ISADO…}
I chant for our strength,
Our resolve for change,
Our out spoken and unquenchable voice,
For our defiance of the elements to yet speak,
I chant for our courage that has stood the supreme test; Time,
Our ever piercing eyes that looks for that slightest ray of light; Hope,
That beckons on in our hearts to stay alive,
Ever graceful, ever joyful even in much pain,
I chant oh! for my country, my nation,
For her unbroken spirit though tossed about,
We will survive,we will revive
and we will prevail,
As foot soldiers we march on,
As eagles we sour high,
As a nation we stay as one,
As roots planted by the most high,
We will never dry out,
Even today we grow stronger,
Let the change begin,
Let my nation be seen,
I Chant my NIGERIA...
