She rises and falls with it
Flowing at the same frequency

She dances
To the singer's tune
Gyrating like palm trees
Flirting with the harmattan wind

Her dance steps are a one night stand
Careless with passion
body and song speaking one language
They seem like lovers

She does not know the language of the song
How come body understands
What her head can't comprehend
This question bemuses me. Then I know

Our souls communicate with feelings
those messages too heavy to be carried by sentences
too light to be grasped by words
She feels, that is why she dances
