Federal University Dutsina-ma katsina State was one of the newly established universities by Goodluck administration. The university commence academic activities in 2011. Today, it graduates it 1st sets of graduate. The university also conferred an honorary Ph.d on its 1st Chancellor His Royal Highness King Dendeson Douglass( Jeki the 5th) Jaja of Opobo and Amanyanabo of Opobo and Chairman River state council of traditional rulers. The young University graduated 110 students with 11 first class, 49 had 2nd class upper, 46 second class lower and 4 third class degrees.
