Has anyone else notice the brutal manner in which Glo deduct the BB 3G data on Android recently?
or is it just me?

I usually struggle to finish ordinary 3G for a whole month. But since the turn of this year, I just discovered that the 5G balance I had on my phone flew away in few days without doing anything special than the normal way I use it before.

I then subscribed for another one, but the 3G data did not last more than 5 days.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Anyone with useful information please?

I doubt there's any problem. It most probably might be some applications running in the background consuming your data. Been using this for quite a while now and even shared it on my laptop without issues.

Its probably some apps running in background that suck your data.. Check your list of installed apps and notice which one that consumes your data... Glo is working perfectly...

Are u using infinix hot 2? The marshmallow OTA update is 800+ mb & it downloads the update automatically. It happened to me.

No wonder. I didn't even check, I just know the phone has been updating regularly. I just hope I can turn off the update

I also got the update. My phone has been misbehaving since then. Updates like this should not be automatic but optional...

I think it's just you. Or you have lots of background applications running as others have suggested, because I used my last subscription It lasted for a whole month.

Am using avast firewall which only allows selected apps to operate others are allowed only on WiFi network

Tweak/change your IMEI number to match that of a blackberry device and then set the device APN to that of blackberry that's all.

Subscribe to a blackberry plan and you're good to go. I'll advise that you Google search how to achieve the change cos it's too lengthy for me to enumerate here.

Yea I noticed it alright, worst is mine happens on Blackberry z10 have subscribed 4 times just this January alone... thats 3.5GB times 4

I was even thinking mine may be an issue with my SIM cos I do everything to make sure the data last longer but still.....
It's a big surprise because it was working so nice before.
