Kelechi iheanacho

Kelechi Iheanacho, whose hat-trick helped secure Manchester City's place in the FA Cup fifth round, is leading the way for a group of promising Nigerian footballers looking to take the European elite by storm.Iheanacho, City's breakthrough starThe young forward shot to prominence by firing Nigeriato the Under-17 World Cup title in 2013, his six goalsin seven appearances at that tournament earning him a move to City's academy in 2014. He is making a real name for himself in this, his maiden season in the Citizens' first team and looks capable of wearing the number 9 shirt at the Etihad for years to come.

Iwobi, the latest gem rolling off the 'Wenger production line'

Arsenal boss Arsène Wenger is a huge fan of Alex Iwobi, Jay-Jay Okocha's 19-year-old nephew, who has made a big impression on his few senior outings so far. "I like his team attitude and his movement", Wenger has stated.

Sadiq, Roma's surprise package

Another striking starlet, Umar Sadiq is living his very own fairy tale. After moving from his homeland to Serie B side Spezia, this season he was loaned to Roma with little expectation that he would have an impact at senior level. Following four goals in six appearances in the UEFA Youth League group stage, however, he was promoted to the first team, for whom he has already got off the mark.

Osimhen and Nwakali, the next in line

Victor Osimhen and Kelechi Nwakali, respectively the winners of the Golden Boot and the Golden Ball at lastyear's Under-17 World Cup in Chile, are both gearing up to follow in their above-mentioned compatriots' footsteps. Osimhen has signed for Wolfsburg, while Nwakali looks set to join Iwobi at Arsenal.
