Wonder shall never end......firstly, we thank God for d lives of all the passengers onboard. secondly, brisco should be deleted from Nigeria completely because elders say, wen somtin happen 2 u once, its called accident and wen somtin happen 2 u twice, its called co-incidence but if u allow dat same tin to happen 2 u again, unforeseen issues fit arise.

Is this the control float landing Bristow were talking about? SMH! what is wrong in admitting a crash
Look closely, does it look like the helicopter is broken apart... Get educated on these things. They declared emergency and landed on water.... But I guess people are always happy or eager to declare a crash. Anywayz, everyone is safe... So ...

I am sure these people texted RESCUE to 131!!

That's an FRB (Fast rescue Boat) from a nearby vessel in that field where the incident happened, going for the rescue operation

[quote author=haibe post=42608667]I thought when automobiles, airplanes crash in water, they explode.. Is this right? [/quot]

It depends on how and where the chopper lands..... How?? Losing the tail blades it will spin and would be difficult to land on the sea/land... Other engine failure u can land easily on sea but heavy impact on land it would explode due to fuel type and other factors.... Airplanes have a different story ...

Thank God.

The importance of Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET), which I believe may have played an important part in the survival of the passengers and crew in this unfortunate incident cannot be over emphasized.

SO TRUE...GOD HUET and highly recommendable sikorsky chopper with its great safety record
