2.Better reliability
In many cases, old cars turn out to be more reliable than newer ones because they have been widely tested and you have ample information of these models on the internet. On the contrary, buying the latest car is a bit risky, as it is still in its testing phase and it takes time for problems to show up. Used cars are not affected as much by depreciation as are new ones; in fact they hardly lose value if you maintain them nicely.
