The former Chelsea boss , who appears close
to
becoming Manchester United's next manager,
is being lined up for a consultancy role,
according to the Evening Standard .
Mourinho would be tasked with advising on
the development of the game which would
include a focus on the China national team,
the Super League, coaching techniques and
transfer strategies.
Mourinho visited China with his agent last
month and they were pictured with Zhang
Dazhong, the chief executive of Alisports, in
Shanghai.
