Anywhere God’s Servant Bishop Josef Bassey goes, he usually attracts a sea of humanity and leaves behind an unprecedented harvest of miracles and testimonies. In this age and season that the Lord’s vineyard is teeming with a huge population of men of God, with the fake ones in overwhelming majority, this verity has proven that Bishop Josef Bassey is indeed a prophet sent by God and that the likes of him are few and rare and must be highly acclaimed.

Two days ago, precisely Tuesday and Wednesday 2nd and 3rd of February, Ugep , Nigeria was taken by storm and turned inside out by this tireless prophet of God on the Global Invasion series of crusades for the year 2016. In a spiritual collaborative effort to further spread the gospel and take over territories for our Lord Jesus Christ, Bishop Josef Bassey, in conjunction with his thousands of partners from various denominations in the body of Christ held this earth-shaking programme tagged “Miracles in Ugep”. The programme which held at the Presbyterian Church grounds, was attended by a mammoth crowd of miracle-seeking faithful with a huge overflow just like Miracles in Ogoja was barely seven days ago. It was the kind of event never witnessed before in the history of church programs in Ugep, Nigeria. It was indeed an experience worth having.
On the first night, amidst thunderous applause from the huge crowd, the man of God from Calabar, came like a thunderbolt to the stage and the ecstatic crowd roared to welcome him. His appearance electrified the whole gathering. Suddenly, everybody wanted to move closer to him as if the nearer they were to him, the better their chances of being blessed. There was no blaming them for that was exactly what 90% of the crowd had come to seek or witness. Some came in crutches, some were led in by relatives—the blind, the cripple, the deaf - while others walked in on their own with various afflictions and pictures of their loved ones as points of contact for their miracles.
His lordship started off with a wave of prophetic declarations, which worked up the crowd as they thunderously answered “Amen,’’ with some saying, “I Receive.’’ After the prophetic declarations, Bishop Josef Bassey said repeatedly: “I am here for a battle. Your time has come!’’

Then the miracles began. Those whose destinies have either been twisted as a result of family curses or enemy attack, had their destinies restored; the lame walked, those with stiff neck had their necks relaxed; the deaf heard; the blind saw; those with atrophied businesses had life breathed into them. In short, those with all manner of sicknesses/diseases were healed.

The miracle-soaked, deliverance-packed night was followed in the morning by a Holy Ghost impartation service for the ministers of the gospel in the land of Ugep. God’s Servant speaking to the large gathering of pastors and partners said, “If serving God is not sacrificial then it can never be rewarding. Until your love for God is certified you are not qualified to serve Him. The motivation in serving God is not the rewards but love because if you serve God in love, then you cannot miss the reward.”

Indeed, Miracles in Ugep was hugely successful! These spiritually-fulfilling 2-day pragmatic event may have come and gone, but the triumph over the devil will continue to reverberate across Nigeria nay the world for many years to come.
