Taraba camp is OK .. There is light, water but the Toilet is very bad to my liken .. On food I think is thesame all over.Remember Mami is there for u.. Food in mami is somehow cheap N300 for plate.ADVISE: don't follow girlz becos they will follow u chop ur money..from my window in block D I can see people lines up for N1000 bicycle alawee.

ma dear ur frnd is rite o.. even me daht am a guy am really finding it hard meeting up meditation ground on time.. we sleep @ 11pm dats d day u have access to water for bathing earlier b4 bed then diz soldiers wake us up by 4:45am, then they rush us to meditation ground b4 5am, so i've got less than 10mins to prepare, i usually just brush and dont bath to d meditation ground(i'll get dirty anyways b4 8:00 wen ll be done with morning activities) after prayers and announcement on meditation ground @arund 6am we arnt allowed to even go back to d hostel from their everyone will run to d parade ground for morning drills after which we have 1hr for breakfast and bathing.. buh am really shocked @ galz tho @4:55am they are fully kitted with lots of make up, pef and their hair well treated. there z no how someone can do daht in just an hour except mayb they will just apply makeups without bathing... hanhan wetin... them no dey sleep? d wan wey worry me pass na say gal rob all kinda makeup dey climb rope, sit on floor, jug round camp.. haba na macho man u wan attract..

On behalf of Redeemed christian corpers fellowship(RCCF)...we welcome all sokoto corp members to Sokoto state. Sokoto is a cool and currently the most peaceful state in the country. The people are very friendly and the state govt sure knows how to take care of their corp members. The only challenge is the weather which can be very harsh and funny atimes but believe me, it's nothing you can't survive. I'm a batch A corp member currently serving in the state. Tho at first i didn't like d state but within a short time, i got use to sokoto and currently enjoying my stay especially with the RCCF family. Aside the random corpers posted down here, there's hardly no tribe that u wouldn't find here. The yorubas are so much here that u sometimes wonder if sokoto is still in the north or our map geographers made a mistake when drawing the map.
My point is...if u r posted here, u r not alone, no matter ur tribE. Your brothers n sisters are all here expecting u to come and join them.
I'm sure u r already enjoying wamakko camp, it's one of the best in the country. And as u r about leaving camp on the 14th of DEc, RCCF will be there for you. To provide assistance and help u with ur luggages and a place to rest till whenever u feel like reporting to ur PPA. Dnt be stranded in Sokoto when u have a lovely family that is eager to take u in. We will be expecting y'all...NO FEAR! We shall RUN this Sokoto together.

My camp is boring even with cash. The terrain is not friendly,the soldiers are making life too hard and the food sef na war. As yorme rightly said,if you want to enjoy camp very well,hold like 50k.

A guy who is diabetic in my camp and make use of insulin by himself in the dom. He exhausted the insulin and was lying sick on his bed. Thank God for the eagle eye of his platoon officer who decided to take a roll call during their football match. The guy wasn't there,they later checked his dom because he was the active type in camp just to see he was wailing in pains. He was rushed to the clinic asap. When he got to the clinic,his sugar level was above 400.

Just imagine, there was no match or the platoon officer did not take roll call as promised. The guy would pass and we start blaming Nysc for poor health care as if we also make our health paramount. Nysc clinic may not have the required drugs @ least they will refer the patient to another medical facility.

Don't die for Nigeria,its not worth dying for.

its very nice. Good toilet facilities just DAT water doesn't come in.... Good bathrooms, nice painted hostels, constant electricity, good parade ground,friendly soldiers..everything is quite ok

D only problem is insufficient water, pple queue for water here. intact katsina has one of the best nysc camp

If you really want to enjoy the NYSC camp, ensure you take along sufficient cash. I'm not talking of 5-10k. 40-60k will have you covered. Reason? Things are very expensive on camp. More like twice the price of things outside.
