people these days are looking for the fountain of youth. There is a multi-million industry devoted to making people stay young and energetic, from our hair, skin, brain, body and even our whole disposition. But did you know that in Korea, there is such a man, who has not aged at all?

Meet shin hyomyung. Known as the Peter Pan of , he is 26 years old. He gets stares when he goes to clubs or dates. The reason? At his age when he should be growing a beard, or having a deep voice, Shin has not reached puberty! Shin who is just 163cm tall, still looks like a 12-year-old boy, with his high-pitched voice and chubby cheeks.

Mr. Shin always has to show security guards his identify card, which shows his year of birth, 1989.

Recently, a local TV program followed Mr. Shin around. Like other males at his age, he dressed up, went to parties, drank shots of local “firewater” soju and danced the night away. A lady found him to be too cute, even pinching him on the cheeks.

The show gave him a makeover but did very little in changing his boyish looks. He had a date in a café with a pretty woman who couldn’t believe his age.

In the show, a poster of Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson, his crush was shown. He talked about his wish to find a beautiful girlfriend.

Many people have been intrigued by his looks. But according to koreaboo.com, a culture website, he is afflicted with a rare condition called the “highlander syndrome.”

While this has not been widely recognized medically, it is said to cause very slow aging.

His photos show that he had normal growth from the time he was a baby up until he reached 12 years old, and then his growth seemed to have stopped.

He mentions that he still has a baby face, full cheeks and hairless soft skin face.....
