Have been funding it via Money transfer. The last transfer was in January. They haven't asked me for any BVN

Yesterday, I got a message that my account has been deactivated.
Hope they don't mean freeze. Cos I go cry for person head ohhh

So of all those affected its only you CBN sent message to? I've not linked my BVN with one of my accounts too and CBN has not sent me no message!

That message is scam, fraud! Be wise.

This is a scam message from fraudsters. Don't call or send your bank details to that number or else they gonna wipe all the money in your account.
CBN doesn't send message directly to bank customers. Moreover, your bank will rather inform you to visit their nearest branch office if anything goes wrong with your account.

Or better to edit the thread title and let lalasticlala and Seun put it on the Front page to warn people about this BVN scam. Also the number will be out there so it will be easy to track this criminal
