The only people benefiting from Facebook ads, is Facebook. Take a moment and think about it. The site is jam packed and flooded with ads and widgets at every corner. Its difficult to clearly interact with any of the ads.

Then there is the issue of the likes. You pay for publicity of a product or sign ups and all you get are likes in there hundreds sometimes thousands and yet no one has bought a copy of the product your trying to sell nor has anyone signed up for your site.

So what exactly are you paying for when you buy Facebook ads? The answer is simple ''Likes''.
There is a low probability that people will buy the product your trying to sell via Facebook.
But an extremely high probability that you will get a hundred and more likes.

So if your looking for just likes, fine go ahead pay for a Facebook ad cause that's all you will get at the end of the day.

Stop posting wrong information about FB. Fb is one of the best traffic source today. If it is not working for you, it could be your product isn't relevant or you're targeting the wrong audience.

@Op you need a compelling advert inorder to convert it into sales. If your advert is not making you money or bringing traffick to your website, it simply means your advert is not compelling enough. Maybe you should change your Ad Banner to something more compelling.
