The Nigeria Immigration Service, Delta State Command, today played host to Lt Gen Abdulrahman Bello Dambazzau, the Federal Minister of Interior. The Hon Minister who was in the State to commission a new Passport Office in Warri, had revealed that the Warri Passport Office is the first out of eighteen New Passport Offices to be commissioned by his Ministry this year.
Earlier, while on Courtesy call to the State Governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and also the new Olu of Warri, the Minister who was accompanied by the Comptroller General of Immigration Mr Martin Abeshi, had thanked the government and people of Delta State for providing the Service with a magnificent building to house the new Passport Office.
He decried the activities of some unscrupulous elements who indulge in Passport racketeering and warned that his administration has no room for corrupt Officers and men.
The brief ceremony was attended by diginataries including the Secretary to State Government, Service commanders, captains of Industries, royal fathers and many others
