Imagine tomatoes and pepper sellers have outrageously increased their wares. If you ask them why! They'll say "my pikin you no hear say dollar don increase" as if what they are selling has anything to do with forex

Before you preach to me how the Naira fall is good for our local goods, please read this and think!

People's salaries are now almost worthless in their hands.

Let's say a Civil Servant earns N100k, the real worth of the money is now about N30k, this is because the things he used to buy for N100 are now N300 due to the dollar exchange rate.

The prices of everything eg school supply, foodstuff, medicals etc have gone up.

The Federal Government should be ready to salvage the Naira or be ready to increase the workers salary at least four folds.

Thanks.

People's salaries are worth 3 times less the actual worth because of this Naira fall. What do you have to say about that.

The whacked forex policy of this govt is truly Damaging the Economy. We now have imported inflation. Fixed income earners who initially were thinking they are insulated from the messy can now see the decline in their purchasing power!

It is affecting salary earners so badly.

The only people comfortable with this are some who don't have jobs or businesses.
