This question has been in my mind for a long time. If there's only one god, why are there so many religions?

I often thought about it too especially the christians and muslims, christians to other christians and there is still one God, not two, three, five but ONE GOD.

IT IS VERY, VERY BAD TO ASK SUCH A QUESTION: IT SHOWS AN EXTREME INABILITY TO REASON AND THINK FOR YOURSELF!

Where did you get the idea that there was only one god?

Who told you that?

Was there a CENSUS? Did you run the Census yourself?

There are millions of gods, and supposed gods.

Many people believe in the Existence of the same Supreme God over all, but even when they all agree together what His Instructions are- THE BIBLE, or THE QUR'AN, they do not all agree to follow all of the Instructions,

WHEN DESIGNATED PROPHETS AND ANGELS FAIL IN THEIR DUTIES, GOD TERMINATES THEM.

To Survive, they issue FALSE PARDONS FOR SINS AND INIQUITIES, and become False Prophets and gods.

Feeding off of the people they are supposed to be benefitting.
