Alhamdulilah its saturday, a day where most weddings take place, love Is in the air on this day, here a d recipes for a "blessed wedding"
1)No flower boys
2)No flower girls
3)No wedding cake
4)No drummers (local or standard)
5)No music (tribal or islamic)
6)No dancing by the couples or everyone
7)No bachelors eve or sister's night
No dressing of cars wit balloon
9)No white gown by the bride, rather she should wear her full hijab
10)No carrying of palm wine by the wife, then searching for her husband in the midst of people.
11)No mixing of men and women
12)No photographer should even be 500km close to the venue
13)No snapping of pix
14)No donation of yams, redoil, dry fish, frogs and salt by the groom to the brides family
15)Don't cause traffic hold-up in the whole town because of ur wedding alone.
16)No bridal train
17)Everything should be done in d same venue, no need to go to a different venue for reception, don't impose hardship on d people.
18)Invite according to your means, don't invite 2000 people when u can only feed 500.
19)Don't tie people down all day, to the extent that dey miss salat at its proper time.
20)Don't impose a particular dress code on people!
-Some may not be able to afford your wedding dress
-those who are not able to afford it wil feel inferior wen others are wearing theirs on dat day.
-some may even refuse to attend ur wedding cos dey couldn't buy d wedding dress, na u go still vex say u invite person and he no come!
-its nt your wedding being "colourful" that matters, its Allah's blessings dat matters most.

Many people spend millions in weddings, after many months, dey are still paying bank loans, because of wedding expenses! Keep things simple, the people you are trying so much to please on your "saturday" wil forget u imediately after ur wedding and dey wil be busy attending another wedding next saturday again.
