The Ruqya: Introduction
BISMILLAH ARRAHMANI ARRAHIM
Ruqya is the healing and relief of
people who suffer and are stuck
for years. Secondly it is a
protection of Muslims against
shirk and strengthening their
faith. Thirdly it is a door Dawa to
non-Muslims. Fourth, it is a fight
against witches, satanists, witch
doctors, seers, and their
associates and all forms of shirk
until it disappears completely.
1) The existence of witchcraft
Allaah says: “So every time a
messenger came to their
predecessors they have not said
it is a sorcerer, or one
possessed” (Sura 51 verse 52).
Men have always known
phenomena of witchcraft and
possession by the jinn, it is only
the modern that rejects
materialism in the name of
science, trying to explain
everything by psychological
problems and superstitions.We
can only wonder at some imams
and scholars deny the reality of
these phenomena as angels even
taught sorcery and Allah bears
witness to the reality of its
effect: “And they do not teach
someone to say : We are a
temptation, do not become a
disbeliever! They learn what they
sow discord between the person
and his wife. However, they can
not harm anyone except by the
leave of Allah ” (Sura 2, verse
102). We also know how the
Prophet, prayer and peace be
upon him, was bewitched and
remained patient until Allah Most

Abnormal health problems:
unexplained pain and
permanent disease bizarre
medicine can only describe
open sores, sterility and
impotence.
Abnormal mental states:
anger, irritability, sadness,
depression, forgetfulness,
lack of confidence, lack of
concentration, hear and see
things to madness …
Nightmares continued,
snakes, dogs, cattle,
uniformed, masks, water fall
or climb or fly, dead or
graves, cars or vehicles, fire,
fish, husbands or wives of
nights.

2) The illegal character of
witchcraft
Allah ta’ala says: “They learn from
them the means to sow discord
between man and wife. However,
they are capable of harming
anyone without the permission
of Allah. They learn what harms
them and they are not
profitable. And they know very
well that he who seeks to
acquire this power will have no
share of good in the
hereafter. What horrible price for
which they sold their souls ! If
they only knew “
Allah says: { The wizard will fail
where it } [Qur’an ” Taha “, verse
69]
Al’Imrân ibn Husayn – may Allah
be pleased with him – reported
that the Prophet (peace and
salvation be upon him)
said: ” Not one of us, one that
spreads superstition and those
who believe, who practice
clairvoyance and those for whom
it is practiced, one who practices
witchcraft and that for which it is
practiced, and whoever goes to a
light, then questions and believes
in his prediction, has disbelieved
in what was revealed to
Mohammed (peace and salvation
be upon him). “ [Reported by

transmission.]
From Abu Hurayrah – may Allah
be pleased with him – reported
that the Prophet (peace and
salvation be upon him)
said: ” Whoever goes to a
soothsayer or a light and believes
in his prediction, has disbelieved
in what has was revealed to
Muhammad (peace and salvation
be upon him). “[Reported by
Ahmad, Abu Dawud, At-Tirmidhi,
al-Nasaa’i, Ibn Majah and Hakim
El]

3) The ruqya

that affects the body, until that
he falls ill or dies, and creates
discord between the spouses, it
is legislated to do anything about
it and use lawful means of
healing. Indeed, Allaah has given
a cure for every disease
According to Abu Hurayrah – may
Allah be pleased with him – the
Prophet (peace and salvation be
upon him) said: ” Allah has not
sent down the disease without
lowering its cure. “
Muslim narrated from Jabir – may
Allah be pleased with him – that
the Prophet (peace and salvation
be upon him) said: ” Every
disease has a cure, if the
corresponding cure for the
disease is found, the patient will
recover with Allah the
Almighty. “ For witchcraft
particularly the remedy is in the
Koran as witchcraft and satanic
words are the words of Allah
who cancel.
Allah ta’ala says: “This Qur’an that
We reveal to believers and brings
healing and mercy does, in fact,
worsen the ruin of the wicked. “
