A 24 –year-old woman was arrested at an airport for allegedly trying to smuggle £7,000 worth of cocaine by hiding it in her vagina. Shekira Thompson was caught with a half-pound package of the white powder, worth $10,000, inserted into her vagina on Sunday as she returned to New York from a trip to her native Jamaica. During a routine screening at about 1pm, US Customs police at JFK Airport pulled her aside after noticing she was sweating profusely, said a law enforcement source.
