So....I read somewhere on digital point forum that you cannot go to google to just lift a photo and put in your site. I am guilty of this. I used to get some free images from pixabay.com, but the picture reserviore there is limited so I resorted to google.

Wanna ask, how do you get photos for you site, since you could be served with a warning and your site taken down by your host if they get a warning from the infringed website.

Its important o. You know one has to be careful with all these plagiarism things. Else one hungry blogger will wait until you hammer and then slam you with a copyright infringement suit.

It depends on niche... For tech, we make our pics ourselves through screenshots. And sometimes from a source...

yea....depends on niche..if u r for entertainment .....u can easily visit ur target twitter, I.G handle to get d needed pics by downloadin or snippin tool it, u can as wel get pictures from videos using vlc screenshot........
with dat nobody can come calling for infringmnt sh!t

Ok, thanks for replying. My site is on women issues, news, lifestyle, and health tips. I get my photos straight from google which is why I'm a bit scared.

I think you can still get images from Google but what's important is giving credits.

You Google the image,
after changing the tab to images
You then navigate to advanced search settings on the upper right corner.
In the advanced search settings, there is a section for copyright and privacy settings or so.
You then tick options to exclude copyrighted images from your search.
Then save the settings.
This is best done on a p.c.

Pixabay is a great site, but there are times when you don't get the pics you want and that's when I go to Google but no more.
