Jesus is your advocate with the Father. Thus, when you say, “Father, I receive forgiveness for what I did,” immediately, you’re forgiven. The Bible says He is faithful and just to forgive us, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). It didn’t say He’s quick to judge us and convict us. Your spirit does that; but God is greater than your spirit (1 John 3:20-21).

What that verse is saying is that it is better for believers to judge themselves than to be disciplined by the Lord and that is far better to be disciplined by the Lord than to be judged together with the ungodly world. What's wrong in asking and receiving forgiveness? Unless you are saying that you know more than our Lord Jesus Christ who said we should ask and receive.

The Bible says godly sorrow leads to repentance. Did you have godly sorrow when you sinned? and that's if you believe in repentance.

You see, when you re truly a born a bornagain, the Holy Spirit will began to guilde, instruct, and chastise you as well. He tell you the way you replied that man is not proper, you re too hash at him. You shouldn't have to talk to him that way. Most of the things which you re doing which you think is normal, the HolySpirit will let you know they are not good, even those sin which are not recorded in the bible, the holyspirit will make you to iddentify them and avoid them.

He will therefore makes you to work toward perfection. Mathew 5: 48. You must therefore be perfect even as your heavenly father is perfect.
