Op, 13 million and still need conversion? Even Dangote will have sleepless nights before venturing into this kind of deal.

If care is not taken, parts will gulp 3m. And this isnt older benz, but 2015. Any changes which might confuse the front and/or rear SAM will leave you wth a blown Signal Acqistion and distribution Module (SAM).

What is the comparison in price on an original LHD? If op sells for 2.5 million, he/she might tempt a prospective buyer!!!
Their has to be a carrot in this deal.
I would prefer to buy an older model, that is originally a LHD.

Cost of parts, shipping and labour, would fund me a very clean Camry + tracker installed.

things that will put potential buyers off

1. Price, why buy that benz when I can get a low mileage 2012 ford mustang or chevy camaro for that price. I can even go all and acquire a mint lemon green mixed with black coloured Nissan skyline.

2. Driving position, why on earth will I waste time, money and energy on a non-classic car.

3. Engine type, as much as I love diesel engine and been dying to get one, I will only go for popular ones around (VW or toyota).

This is a nice car, but it's baggages doesn't commensurate with the price it's tagged at.

This car is powered by OM651 DE 22 LA engine. This is a 2.142cc turbo diesel engine. Any mercedes you see with the CDI badge is a compressed diesel injection engine

@ OP, the fact that you can say its not a diesel should already start ringing alarm bells. have you been filling it up with petrol all this time? if so then you've most likely destroyed this poor vehicle.

I assumed it was mostly Eastern Europeans and Russians that normally get cars on Hire Purchase and quickly ship them out of the country without paying for it.

Since its already registered, keep driving it yourself. Also get a tint permit, so you save on VIO and Police tariff!!!
