Asbestos is a killer, not a roofing material. How come Nigerians still don't know this?

Aluminum. Na only for countries like naija u go still see something as dangerous as asbestos used as roofing sheet material. No try am o if u plan to live a long healthy life.

asbestos is better but the clause is that the building must be very solid. in terms of weight, asbestos is very heavy and gives a building heavy cracks if it is not strong enough. in places where the building is not strong enough use aluminium

aluminium is the best when it comes to roofing except maybe in the future when it may be replace with something else. Google the health implications of asbestos as it ages with time and you would know that it does not worth it. I do aluminum roofing and windows and am telling you out of experience.

Lol, we have been using Asbestos for years now without cancer or anything close to it. How come only white people get this cancer from asbestos? My house's roof was made of asbestos and so is my neighbors together with everybody that lives in my community...

asbestos for one is old technology.. secondly... health wise,its nt a good choice...thirdly....asbestos loses durability over time....aluminium is currently in vogue..lightweight...can be used extensively....in place of asbestos..consider stone coated tiles..or even...even fire clay roofing brick tiles.
