The love we once shared,
The pain we all beared.
The strength in our thighs,
The dreams in our eyes.
There were three brothers…

In our dependence, we became independent,
Oh together, what a great trident,
Power! Power! Power!
We wanted to prove we were greater,
There were three brothers…

Who is going to lead?
Who is going to bleed?
Unity, Where art thou?
Harmony, I guess down.
There were three brothers…

“We” became stool,
“I” became the new cool,
Our minds got separated,
Our bones; Emaciated,
There were three brothers…

The only bond left is our name (Nigeria)
Our forefathers probably bow their heads in shame,
We have become a bloody cadaver,
Which needs a miracle sub-woofer,
There were three brothers…

Hausa,Igbo and Yoruba.
Where do we go from here,
To our better past of regionalism?
Or renegotiate our togetherness?
The time is now!

Nigeria we hail thee
Our own dear native land
Though tongue and tide may differ yet
In brotherhood we stand.... .. ..... .. .. .. cry cry cry cry

Let there be love shared among us
Let there be love in our hearts
May that your love fill this NATION
And course us oh Lord to arise
Give us a fresh understanding of brotherly love that is real
Let there be love
