Ur brother needs help and advice. I did tooth extraction like a month ago. After 2 wks d dentist adviced I shld stop salt-water solution. And d pain reliever. And after a month I went bk to complain dt d pain is seldom and dt it is still swollen. So he said dt I shld keep calm, dt it is a result of d difficulty dey had while removing d tooth(drilling d bone).
Unfortunately that night I mistakenly bite on a piece of bone while chewing. And since den d swelling and pain has rapidly increased.

I have started to use diclofenac and cac-1000. But as I type ds am in serious pain I can't sleep.

I need ur help on our to reduce d pain n d swollen part ?

this is why i refused to remove my tooth because of the complications that follow. the pain associated with the removal is worse than the initial pain. why not try lincocyn upjon 500mg that is what i use when the pain and swelling becomes too much. i also add maxinal. There is this chemist around

Like he many days did it take for d swelling to go bk to normal after d use of d drugs. Was it prescribed by d dentist. And he do I take it.

You bit on a bone, it aggravated your discomfort.
You resorted to self medication. Wrong.
You better get back to the dentist before the neighboring tooth to the removed one will need to be removed too!

Hehehehe, No painkillers will can stop the EXTREME pain of a possibly infected and neglected tooth.
If you dont agree with your Dentist's advice for an extraction, you may cause irreparable damage to other teeth and jaw structures.

Go back to your dentist. Desist from self Medication.

Visit your dentist again and complain to him explaining every details. From the bone you chewed to the aggravated pains. Don't self medicate brother

It's too early for you to start cracking bones with your teeth after the extraction. Go back to your dentist

I don't see any complications when you go direct to a dentist specialist....I have extracted two of my teeth...without any issue... I advice ýou go to a teaching hospital near you for a proper care. Sorry for the pain I know how it feels....

CHAI!!!! I wan kolo, went to the dentist to remove it when I saw sad looking faces and the way some people were crying plus swollen cheeks everywhere..... omo, I fly.

I started asking everybody and anybody about cure for tooth decay. Trust Nigerians they'll always have something to prescribe.
I used so many things, I didn't even know the one that cured it.
The weirdest is pouring petrol in my mouth...

Go back to your dentist asap. Let him solve it or sue him.
IMO Ibuprofen is better thn diclofenac with swelling, thats if u gt no ulcer.

Sorry bro, the earlier you visit your dentist, the better.

It will cam down gradually if it was done well all u need to do is take sleeping peels or jst try to force ur self to sleep

I advice that you visit your dentist ASAP. I understand u took the said drugs due to the pain and you seeking for possible succor, but the truth be said, all the road side "chemist" shops cant be trusted. I had Bell's Palsy recently and I knew what I passed through.

Sorry bro, and try be better on time. Moreover, for the meantime do away with bony meat, take fish and eggs instead.....the pain will be more than the gain on the long run.

If you hold warm water in your mouth, the pain would subside during the time the water is in your mouth.

Didn't u do an xray of the tooth b4 it was extracted?

I have extracted a tooth and cut impacted gums three times.. I think the dentist removed more that expected the first time..
