All the features in Android N is already on miui. I don't think Android N is an issue.

I don't really care about Android version hence I am using MIUI.

I downloaded 1.3gb Marshmallow update on rn3 pro..

I tap reboot and phone was upgrading and den it went off. Put it on again and it's still the same lollipop and it's asking me to update again. 1.3gb file fa, Xiaomi no knw say data no cheap here.

I am on miui 6.8.18 beta wants to update to 6.9.9 based on mm.

Until I see another cheap data sha, I rest my case

I want to ask if my bootloader is unlocked and if it is, I want to flash beta ROM on it, cos I think the present rom is a vendor rom

All Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 bootloader is locked.

I advise you flash global stable rom.

I am not using note 3, am using 3s and that was the image wen I checked if the bootloader is locked and better still y did u suggest global rom

Stable means it's stable for day to day activities, while beta means it's not stable with bugs. Beta version is for you to report issues that need to be fixed. Just like a pen taster.

Xiaomi started bootloader locking after Redmi Note 2

Use mi flash tool. Check tutorial on miui forum how to flash.

Remember you have to flash using fast boot rom

I have installed the driver properly cos the flash tools is detecting my phone as com 3.

Just follow the miui thread.... I was on Chinese ROM before, I unlocked my bootloader and den flash beta ROM... If i have data I will flash stable but I think I like the beta cos updates come quickly.

I use rn3 Qualcomm
