[b]Fake doctor who has operated for 12 years arrested in Ibadan[\b]


A woman who had paraded herself as a doctor for 12 years and treated many patients, has been arrested in Ibadan.




Damilola Ojo, a 32-year-old woman who paraded herself as medical doctor » and treated patients for different ailments including infertility, has been arrested by the Oyo State Police Command.
Apart from posing as a doctor, Ojo is also said to be involved in some fraudulent acts after she allegedly introduce a bogus oil and gas business to two people and after collecting the sum of N23.35 million from them, the victims realised that they had been defrauded.

During her parade by the state Commissioner of Police, Leye Oyebade, at the Command headquarters at Eleyele, Ojo confessed that she is a dropout from Baptist Medical School, Saki, and had collected over N200,000 from one of her clients identified as
Funke, for infertility treatment » .
The angry Oyebade told newsmen:
“As if that was not enough, the impostor fraudulently collected N1.35 million from her female victim under the pretext of registering her as a major distributor in the oil and gas sector.
She also connived with some fake oil and gas merchants to dupe many unsuspecting victims, including one Mr
Caleb , from whom she collected N22 million."
Oyebade said Ojo would be charged to court after the police conclude investigations into the case.
