Seems the challenges are everywhere. From the music industry where so many great song writers write their songs and because they lack connection up there, their dreams couldnt/cannot go anywhere far. So many young men and women dream to get in acting but only less than 40% always succeed. Not like they are not good enough, but most times cos they lack the right connections to push them up the ladder.

The basis of this thread is that, a great story writer has been able to put down great stories that will for sure shake nollywood when shot and produced into the public. As usual, his greatest challenge is the right connection. He has even met with some great movie directors and all commended his works but sponsorship is the set back to realizing this golden dream.

Long story short, what is the way out?

Start by writing scripts that can be made with under 5m . Thanks to piracy, people have to shoot with little so that they can recover the little. Very few people have the funding and sponsorship connect.

Sir, some of the scripts can be shot with under 3m actually. But where one does not have 1m not to talk of the 3m, what can he do?

You can sell to or partner with a producer if they like the script. You need to aim for the upcomers who are shooting cinema standard or close . All depends on if your scripts are as good as you say.
