Proud of all the African coaches. Cameroon almost had mutiny in their camp with Onana, but the replacement was excellent today. Whether na 2nd string Brazilian team or 4th, fact is Cameroun became the first African team to defeat Brazil in the WC. So, I hope Cameroon gives Song more time on the job, I believe he would have learned from this experience.

For Ghana, Addo got water out of a rock, they shocked Nigeria by qualifying for the WC and with his limited first team coaching experience he led Ghana to at least record a win at the WC. I hope they give him more time on the job if he still wants to retain it.

Doesn't matter. Given our tactical malaise, we would've underperformed. Better to stay home than embarass ourselves. Let's aim to get it right for 2026.

The only reason SE will underperform is the fact that SE does not cross the ball and won't select players that can cross..

The goal Aboubakar scored against Brazil is an impossible task for the SE.

If it was SE The winger will try to dribble the Brazilian defenders then end up passing back to defense.

Cameroun is making me proud.

But why the hell did Aboubakar pull his shirt?

A bad sign of not being a good team player, what if his team needed to defend that goal till the end of the match to qualify, it's obvious why he was not making the starting 11 before now.

The Coach may be right after all sending Onana away. There are issues of indiscipline in that team

The South Koreans waited till the end of Ghana vs Uruguay match before jumping into celebrations despite beating almighty Portugal, now contrasting that with what the Cameroon player did, does it make sense?

Otto has resigned. They have started insulting him. Just like Equaveon too. A thin line exists between being a celebrity and a failure. Imagine if Inaki had scored that last minute chance against Portugal or Dede scored that penalty everyone here won't allow us to hear word. Success has many friends. No one is talking about the Saudi Arabian coach again.

Cameroonians! Be specific! Oshimen will pick up the ball and run to the center line.

Brazil's record against African nations at the World Cup before today: WWWWWWW

Brazil's record against African nations at the World Cup after today: WWWWWWWL

This was also Cameroun's first WC win since 2002.

Vincent "Lion" Aboubakar hands Brazil their first L vs an African side, picked his red card and droped the mic.

Equaveon is better. His team had just two shot on target against Equaveon's team home and away.

Take this same set of teams and add Nigeria, Ivory coast, Egypt and Algeria.
Would even love to see how CAF will set up the final qualification mode. Imagine setting up two powerhouses? grin

I think I'll take Zambia/SA over one of CIV.

Its not that deep. I think he got carried away with the goal rather.

I go really miss Aboubakar vibes at this World cup.

I think it's true. What I read is that he says he really likes his Dortmund job and being in Germany is what he and his family prefer. What I read was that he said he made it clear when he was appointed that he would resign after the WC no matter the outcome.

Another prayer

I pray we stop wasting WC slots, giving it to carpenters. The WC is over for 3African teams but i refuse to be distracted. The step up by the 2nd choice Gk of Cameroon is commendable. Against Brazil again.

The first match in the world cup is crucial for qualifications.FranceSpain , Brazil, Portugal all won their first match. I think Cameroon and Ghana are out because their coaches got selection wrong . Tactical, the two coaches goofed. Song benched Aboubakar in the first 2 games they suppose to win. The Ghana coach did not know that Jordan Ayew should be on the bench. Ghana played better in the second half.
