So u didn't hear Daniel Amokachi saying Iwobi should be freed up to make sexy penetrative passes? cheesy against Ivory Coast his role wasn't creativity. We needed him to put in a shift and that's what he did.

Amokachi is not serious. How many penetrative passes did he ever made in his football career ? The guy just runs around like headless chicken while Onyeka works himself to death.

Rohr didn't even use 3-4-3. It was 3-5-2 or 5-3-2.. I believe he used the formation in some games aside that Argentina game... But mostly, post 2019 AFCON,he stuck with 4-4-2, 4-2-4 and 4-4-1-1...
Yeah. So I'm surprised at what he said.

Why does CAF have a different starting 11 from the official handle
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 5:34pm On Jan 22
This formation is weird. Osayi in a DM double pivot? Interesting

Na every game we go Dey get different starting 11 haba, are we still doing trial and error
Ekong is nursing a little knock. I think Iwobi and Lookman ought to rest a bit. Played on extra reserve against CIV

We are playing 3 at the back. Osayi is at RWB.

Ok 👍

Which formation then if Aina is LWB?

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Odunayaw(m): 5:41pm On Jan 22
Ajayi Omeruo Bassey

Aina. Aribo Onyeka Osayi

Chuks. Osimhen. Simon

3-4-3
Or you swap Osayi and Aina so they can make crosses/cutbacks for their wingers

Late change

we just need a draw and we will be fine.

We are playing GB so I won’t make a big deal of that poor lean midfield formation. I hope the wingers will support Osimhen because I don’t see much service coming form the midfielders. It’s going to be a porous one but we have 3 at the back. Fingers crossed 🤞

If Nigeria win the group.

The team balances to watch Napoli - Inter.

Osimhen will tutor the whole squad what he would have done upfront instead of Simeone

Not sentiments. Nwabali needs the rest he can get. No need to risk injury
How will Nwabali get injured as a goal keeper

Now I really understand that some players agents are in this thread

Well for Uzoho he had enough time to prove himself which he failed at

It's a pre-game speculation.

3-4-3 surely.

The Moroccan ref must be the first female referee to officiate a Super Eagles competitive match..

Aina surely one of the best wingback in the world.

Hard to get past, attacks like a freight train.

that our midfield is porous. Nwabali will be tested a lot today

Nigeria sitting back and soaking pressure.

Poor giveaway from Ajayi.

GB draw the first blood with a superb shot.

First save for Nwabali.

Too much respect for these Guineans
Playing this formation smh
10 minutes gone & Nigeria let’s thé Guineans keep possession

I feel paseiro should have returned to 4-3-3 like first match. Start Iheanacho ahead of Chukwueze, Bruno at LB.

Why play defensive against an already knockout team? But I pray we get the best result today.

I hope to see Musa and moffi introduced in the second half. I pray to see osimhen’s masterclass today. Let’s bag the hattrick king Osimhen!!

This coach opted to play on the back foot against Guinea Bissau. What a coward. Horrible coach.

Aina is a right footer
He will struggle to make crosses from the left
