hi Niaralanders, Please i mistakenly pour a cup of coke on my Laptop- Asus S200E corei3 laptop. It stopped working immediately and i cleaned and dried it but it is not coming up. What could have happened and what can be done.

remove the battery and take it to a technician ASAP!!

then don't try to put it on yet, if you can open its casing good. use a dry rag to clean, and a dry at med temp, chill for sometime, maybe buy another coke then after like an hour or two, put it on.

Two things are immediately prone malfunction. Your keyboard and the motherboard. If you are the geeky type, remove the keyboard and the motherboard (@ your own peril), dry it by holding it close to a warm electric bulb. Clean the chasis/carcass with dry cloth. When you are through, fix the components back. To be on the safer side, take it to a technician for proper clean up.

1 u know laptops don't like Coca-Cola just finish u r coke then go and buy very chilled origin or star or a small bottle of guiness will do just pour it on that same portion where the coke was poured make sure it shocked very well then put on u r laptop u will Thank me later.
