In a recent survey carried out by IPSOS it has come to the public’s attention that around 62% of Nigerians consider the Dark Web a breeding ground for evil and have shown their disapproval. Disapproval rates were much higher in countries such as South Africa where over 77% of the population surveyed voiced their opposition against the Dark Web. The Dark Web has prospered since the earliest days of Digital currency, but has it seen its peak as approval ratings fall among consumers?

The Dark Web has grown over the past few years peaking as Bitcoin value peaked before gaining political attention in the form of the US government. As its use increased exponentially it saw all kinds of crime breed out of the view of the public as murderers, paedophiles and many other types of criminals frequently used the platform to pick up customers. Using Bitcoin and various other cryptocurrencies criminals were able to easily get away selling various illegal goods and services as these transactions were simply not traceable due to the anonymous nature of cryptocoins themselves.

I really dont know why i find this funny.. We dont have extreme dark web users here in Nigeria, so i see no reason why nigerians should be complaining.
