Exactly. You know the principle and your knowledge stops there.
There is energy crisis in Nigeria. Why cant you use your brain to investigate further to proffer solution. Oh i forgot. Your knowledge ended where the textbook stopped. Hate them if you like but the Chinese are the ultimate engineers. If they can't, they copy and modify. Nigeria engineers lack creative part of the brain. They cannot even copy. The best they can do is weld pieces of scrap metals together and voila! A car. SMH.

One important note, even you make it, connect it to an extension WITHOUT fuse. The 13A fuse limits the current that it creates.
I use a blackberry playbook charger and, for those that know the charger, it charges fast. Takes about 3 minutes for one percentage.
How much did you get yours?

No fuel?
No electricity?
Why don't you make the world's smallest generator.
Cost about N2k.
At least charge your phone and tablets with it

At maximum rotation, it produces up to 400V so be careful to avoid electric shock.
To understand the principle behind it and how to modify it to your need, see the video

Don't worry, the world's first free electricity is coming your way. I'm just coming in pricing the materials I need to generate free electricity, cause soon I'll be disconnecting from PHCN or whatever their new name.

By the end of this year I'll release the technology to all. If our government fail to adopt it to give free electricity to all, I'll change my citizenship.

What's the device and what powers it.

That is the motor inside microwave oven that turns the plate on which food are items are placed....it means it can generate electricity on its own if turned by other means......what an eye opener!

Instead of using your hands, you can Google plans on how to create a windmill and use the spokes to attach the wings. The whole setup can be placed in an area with adequate ventilation and the wind will turn it for you.
To be more creative, you can use it to create a water wheel of you reside close to a fast flowing river.
Granted it's slow in charging a phone but it's better than nothing.

Tanx for this. Even tho business management is my major I always fancied things like this. Altho I'm curious on how to get that rotating without d use of ones hand.

How much did you get yours?

Bought the motor for 1k, electrical wires and an extension about N500.
Carries two energy saving bulbs.

I came across plans for a kinetic shoe. You place a device in the sole of your shoes and go jogging with it. After a certain duration, you bring it out, connect it to a female USB port and supply electricity to devices.
They're many Internet sites in how to generate electricity but most of the parts are not avaliable in Nigeria. Have to order them but the dollar....

I like this idea. Have you ever tot of having it big? Like a wind mill ? Where I reside in Lagos we have a big balcony and the breeze always pushes our rubber chair around. I always imagined if we had a wind mill.
