WANTING GOD TO DIRECT YOUR PATH?

If only one knows where to head towards in life, the journey would have been shorter and enjoyable and in fact, perseverance or endurance would have been a small task. Those who know where they are going don’t waste time and are not confused, if focused, by anyone because they already know where they are going. Many times, people always want to give trial to what they know, do things the way they best understand them and want to see what will be the product of their idea or concept. May be simply because they are created with ego and always want to showcase this. The most pathetic thing, however, is that they never get it right though the journey might seems real in the first place when it was embarked upon but along the line, it looks boring, faking, stressful and people weary in no time.
Here this:
Proverb 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverb 3:6: In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Proverb 3:7: Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Let’s work on three biblical principles here that if applied to our daily living; we are bound to be successful in all what we do.
1. TRUSTING IN THE UNFAILING: Many a time, people tend to trust in things that could not sustain them. Things that can easily fail them, even when they needed them most. They trust in their strength, knowledge, wealth, riches, family, relatives, spouse, bank, etc and these things have tendency of failing them because they are unpredictable. The only One that have been tested over time and found reliable, capable of not failing anyone that put his/her total trust in Him, is GOD himself. So, you got to trust Him wholeheartedly.
2. LEAN NOT ON WHAT IS ACQUIRED OR EPHEMERAL: Most people lean on their understanding, what they know. In fact you see them saying, “What do you know’, ‘Don’t tell me that’, ‘I am not fool, I am wise’, ‘I have wealth of experience’, etc. Trusting and leaning on your (thine) own THINGS won’t make God direct you path! Those who remove their hands from whatsoever they do always see the hands of God in everything.
3. ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE GOD: God is the giver of all things. It is wise not to say that what you have got is so gotten by your own power or might. It reduces God to nothing in your own life, not the very nature of God. Those who understand how to thank God and give all glory to God always see the Father more concerned about them in everything they do.
These three (3) are important for those who want God to direct their path and land safely in their place of destiny. Be not wise in your own eyes, it only leads to destruction!
