Amid the lingering fuel scarcity across the nation, Nigerians might still have to pay more for the product as the Federal Government, Tuesday, disclosed that it would review the pump price next month.
Speaking during a visit to the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) in Abuja, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, also stated that the present fuel debacle experienced across the country would end in Lagos and Abuja by Thursday, while it would end in other states of the country by the end of the week.

Speaking on the planned review of petrol prices, he explained that the country had been able to save a lot of money within the first three months of the year, stating that the savings would be used to fund the gap recorded in pricing in April.

Bro Kachikwu, kindly get PMS to the filling stations first. Don't heat up the polity with your statements.

A little diplomacy is needed.

it was these same idiots that were shouting prior before the elections that with falling oil prices that pump price should be reduced. (at that time PMS was 97 and oil per barrel was around 60) Gej reduced the pump price to 87 and the APc clowns berated the government for just removing 10 naira.

Now we have oil price at about 30 something dollar per barrel about half the price of what it used to be when Gej reduced the pump price they berated, the best they could do is to reduce the price by only 30k.

Common sense should have it that if price was 87 when barrel was hovering around 60 dollars, now that barrel is hovering around 30 then pump price should be around 44 naira or so. that's common sense, Buh the clowns in government would make Nigerians pay for sins they've committed.

I hope the review is not going to be an upward review.
