I strongly feel that if we block the DM position with the right person and then in January bring in a striker, we will WIN the league. The team is not far from it at all.

It seems Wenger is serious about signing Chamakh from Bordeaux. To be honest, I don't know much about this guy but from clips Ive seen (I know I can't base much on youtube) and his age (25?), Im not sure this is the right signing. I hope Wenger is just using it as a distraction to make Madrid feel like we are not desperate for Huntelaar and thus lower their price (I hear he has a 7Million pounds buy out clause which to me is a good deal). Chamakh at 25 is not what we need right now. Infact I even feel an Uche Ike will be better than him. My reasoning is that for Wenger to bring in a 25 year old to the squad means that he will slot in straight into the first team (like Arshavin). Is he good enough to play in our first team? If he was 19 or 20, maybe I wouldn't mind. But then again like I said, I hope its just a smokescreen.

Meanwhile, oga Wenger, bring in the DM! This is our season!

Arsenal can do so much better than Chamakh. Let him go to Sunderland. Even with £7m, i'm quite sure Wengay can unearth something better.
