The end of one race depicts the commencement of another. In few hours time, the journey of a year ends and a new quest is set before us.

So many would be fortunate to get a job immediately, some would create jobs. Many would sit and wail about the economy. Always remember, all fingers aren't equal.

Be contented with what you have. You've come a long way to quit now. You probably would fail a few times. Yes, I failed my first CBtest. Don't stop. Keep trying till you make it to the top. Trust me, you would get there.

Do not forget the friends you made during your service year. Always keep in touch.

My wish for all of us is that all our dreams come to reality.

I love you all and I'm gonna miss you guys.

Go to ur local govt inspector..
Tell him/her you not treated well there and try make him/her see reasons with you..

If it's in a different local govt from ur current local govt it will be abit difficult..
Goodluck

Thank you very much. The principal is very difficult and wicked. I told her that I wanted to do a short course against my masters in September as the uni won't accept me until I do it, so if she could be giving me clearance while I'm doing the course, she refused saying she will employ someone new if I leave. And give me a rejection letter. I said okay, give me the letter then. ( bear in mind I started working with them mid January and she's only paid me 10k once, no accommodation or transport, I'm the one sorting myself for that. Her school is new so she's lacking staff, I'm teaching two classes three subjects, I go everyday from 7am till 4pm). I went back to her for the rejection letter after I told her I spoke with someone at nysc and they asked me to bring it. She then said she doesn't have light to print, that I should come back next week Monday. Imagine the ungrateful woman. I spoke with my LI and explained the situation, omitting the part about going for a course. ( I really just need a public school where I can settle them and not be going). My fear now is that what if this wicked woman goes to nysc office to tell them about me going for a course? She seems desperate. Also if she gives me the letter and I take it to my LI, will she try to call the school first? Is that possible?

I don't know how your LGI is, that is strict or very open.. You should have told her you preparing for a course and where you taking the course is abit far from ur Ppa that you need to be going there for weekends class.. Don't tell her during the day cause it will definitely clash with your duty as teacher in ur Ppa.

Many Lgi knows it's not really easy for Corpers to really survive on the meager 19800 and the fact you not given accommodation and have been paid just once is very good reason to repost you..

Your LGI will definitely repost you as long as you tell her you are not been paid despite bn used..Having to work from 8 till 4pm without extra pay is another reason for her to repost you cos official closing hours of schools is 2pm... Anything more than that requires The Ppa to pay you extra

Anyway, since you have spoken with someone at the secretariat ready to help you, just do as they say and try reason with your LGI..
You also need to take a receipt of the course you are applying for if you have paid for it.

Just tell her what you going through in the school and she will definitely do something about it..
