I am wondering why Kate Winslet didn't win an Oscar for her nude appearance in titanic? If lupita won an Oscar, it is for interpreting her role in the movie very well and not for going nude.

If it is not a porn movie, nobody wins awards for going naked. The nudity is incidental to the story, set during a period when people in these parts went naked or semi - naked. Genevieve and all the others would be required to disrobe if they acted a movie set in that era. Then they would make a choice of accepting the role or not. There is precious little realism in our so - called movies which is why we are hardly ever competent enough to compete at the international level. An actress is injecting realism into the role as required and y'all are braying like constipated donkeys. If it offends you, don't watch it. Simple. She owes no one any explanation. I wonder why she bothered. Hypocrisy in this country. Smh.
