Ntel sim is not working in the phone
In the settings, did you switch the network type to 4G only or LTE only, as the case may be?

Ntel is a 4G only network. They don't support any 3G or 2G spectrum, for now. Get a 4G modem or Smart phone that supports 1800Mhz or 900Mhz, that is, band 3 or band 8. It's best to get a device that supports both spectrum.
IPhone 6 and note Edge supports both bands, will it work on both devices?

I intend buying this phone with below details.
Will it work with ntel SIM card, or which 4G modem can one go for?
Help with ntel Abuja’s address, please.

According to the LTE frequencies, it should work fine with Ntel.

As for mifi modem, I suggest you wait. My understanding is that, Ntel will be selling the ZTE flare when they become fully operational. ZTE flare is an LTE-A mifi, and it performs better than most of the mifi in the market today.

The only collection location right now is at Transcorp Hilton.

Speedtest today in Central Business District, Abuja (Churchgate Towers) shocked cool

Notice the 4G+ showing on my phone? It means LTE-A, LTE-Advanced or 4.5G which means nTel has deployed a future prof network at least for the time been.

The phone I'm Using is an Asus Zenfone 2. Anyone that needs it should PM me. Its currently the best mobile device for nTel. wink

I also got mine yesterday too at the same Transcorp Hilton Hotel, but at a different location within the same Transcorp. Painfully, there's no network coverage in my area, Jikwoyi and I felt really bad. I just hope that their network coverage spreads out to other locations in time.

Re: I Collected My Reserved Ntel Sim Card In Abuja. by flexyneat(m): 6:52pm On Apr 23, 2016
I put the sim in my iPhone 6, but the signal strength was too poor to do anything. I even drove to one of the streets that were mentioned in the coverage area on the Ntel website. But still didn't get more than 1 network bar and would drop down to "No Service" within 2 seconds of acquiring network.

Experienced the same thing ie 3 seconds reception then no service pops up.
Was at the collection point in Transcorp today, was told not yet compatible with iphone maybe by may 1.
