Guys i need help over here...
This phone is kinda driving me nuts here. If i switch on my data, my phone just start downloading apps,videos and pictures (infact anything downloadable) into the phone and this problem started newly.
please what can i do to solve this problem as it's now getting out of hand and we all know how precious "mb" is over here in Nigeria.

i just tire ooo.. Thougt this virus of a thing no dey affect mobile phones so i never took it serious.

You've been hit by a serious virus. A friend's phone automatically on data/wifi and starts to download junks consuming lots of data. Even flashing through recovery didn't solve anything. Had to port a custom ROM to solve the issue.

iam having that problem and d only solution is either flashing the stock rom or getting a custom rom but I can't find tecno M3 custom rom

flashing won't solve the problem... download stubborn Trojan killer... make sure your phone is rooted... it works like magic... try it and thank me later.

first download the stock or custom rom of ur device,is in zip format, boot ur phone to recovery mode by holding the Power + volume up, backup ur phone,clear cach,wipe phone,then click "update from SD card",locate d zip file and press volume up,it will dem update.

your phone looks like a Samsung phone... download stubborn Trojan killer.... I I don't know if it works for unrooted phones. if your phone is rooted it'll surely work

I could advice you root your phone and download root Explorer to remove the malware attached to your os, but it's a lot of work and u may end up with a bricked phone.

So the best is to simply reset the phone to default by using the power+volume down combo and see if the phone stays clean

Use Google, there are few tecno m3 custom roms available.

its a samsung s5 and its rooted. i think i will have to stick with your advice, its more easier compared with what i'm seeing here. Thanks alot

I have downloaded the app(not with the phone though) but i'm afraid to switch on the data again b'cos the app is asking for permission to switch on the data so as to scan the phone and you know what that means, uneccessary downloads

Install adaway apk n download d easylist sub...it'd take care of almost all ads except for youtube ads {This soln worked on my bro's huawei} but my tecno d5 doesn't seem able to install d adaway so my phone is still misbehaving like yours

I guarantee you that it's going to work. I was once a n your shoe and someone advised I download the app.. I gave it a try and it worked... though I use a tecno phone. just try it with out.. you need data for it to work.

Use malwarebytes it works magic. I once had similar problem and I used it. It worked well for I and a friend

mine, the first one is "download files and apply ad blocking", the second one is disable ad blocking, even after I downloaded the file and then apply the parsing blah blah, it won't stop the ads in my opera mini and those porn ads on my notification, I believe ads block should stop all those.

Flashing is your best solution. Nothing else works like flashing.

After that, to avoid repetition, root your device and install AdAway.

Always use Firefox with adblock plus addon to browse especially visiting those porn sites.

The malware is called monkey test and time service.i have tried several options which includes locating n freezing the app but the best is flashing.its easy getting a stockrom or firmware for any branded phone. You only have problem if it's a cloned phone.
