THE BIRTH
It began some weeks into our marriage, that felt like our perfect dream come true. Our ever ongoing honeymoon was still on when we got thinking seriously of a lasting project that will not only be heard of but will live with people. It felt like our super gift to our world, a way to impact our generation. The thoughts of several start up ideas had been playing on our minds for some months during our courtship, which we were still working on. With the conception of BibiTees, we saw the light we had sought. We nursed and bore her with so much care and passion like our baby soon to be born. It felt like the love air and eternal joy that being married to the best spouse there ever can be was the fuel that got BibiTees rolling pretty soon.


THE INSPIRATION
Our mission was to share abroad great inspirations in brief easy-to-read, artistic piece through high quality tee-shirts that can serve as good casuals for different functions. We have always shared great passion for motivating young minds. We always nurse thoughts of how to influence our youthful world positively. BibiTees was conceived, and of course was seen to be one of those media to reach out to lots of people all ages, and especially our youthful, middle-age population which we always dream to motivate in any way we can. We saw it as a means not only to showcase cool fashion, but great creativity and motivation which was our sole aim. BibiTees was soon to begin once our plans were set aright.


THE JOURNEY SO FAR
Just some weeks after the idea, we were working tirelessly day and night to get BibiTees launched. The more we worked, the happier we got, and more inspirations just kept flowing so we worked even more passionately. We saw the need for more hands as the vision grew bigger and so got some wonderful friends involved as well. We had begun with developing simple quotes from the wealth of inspirations around us. Motivation is the fuel many great minds and entrepreneurs use to keep moving forward. We find motivation in many places, from seeing others working hard and being successful, to reading powerful quotes and words that inspire us.
We continued working out beautiful design concepts for these inspirations, creating an online community of followers whom we inspired with our lovely piece and then developing an online eCommerce store to increase our reach. All along, it had been moments of fun, and fulfillment as we scaled through any hurdles, striving to reach our goal. We never stopped going until we got BibiTees launched with our first 7 designs (see that in our next story) and 350 high-quality t-shirts with great inspirations and motivations in unique, creative styles in the market. Interestingly, we were not some business tycoons just launching another business, we had worked and researched a great deal, learning our way through and making good progress all the way.


LOOKING AHEAD
Here now, what started with a simple idea, to inspire our world has grown to where we are, yet, the picture ahead is even greater. We see the big picture, with BibiTees creating working opportunities for several people, unleashing great talents hid in many, and becoming a huge brand of countless beautiful, creative, personalised wears that will resonate well with all varieties of people, and indeed fulfilling our dreams of inspiring our world.


BEHIND THE SCENES
At the operations-desk of BibiTees are Dr Bibiana Amos (Founder), Solomon Amos (Designer) and Simon Blink Okpeba (Marketing and Sales Consultant).

Bibiana is the adorable wife of Solomon. She keeps him in check by reminding him he needs to eat, shower or sleep (work gets to you like that). She's a medical doctor and has an unending passion for music.
She runs all day to day operations at BibiTees and has great obsession for customers' happiness.

Solomon is a researcher with a background in engineering. He does everything that involves coding, design and those fancy stuffs. He loves tinkering with new programming, he's highly innovative with way too many ideas and is a game lover.

Blink has a background in marketing and sales. He has worked for Jumia and MS Lumia Nig. as marketing consultant. He oversees everything sales and marketing in BibiTees. He's highly skilled in digital marketing and a fashionable guy with swag.

Do you actually plan to penetrate the Nigerian market?, if yes, then you should deploy wordings that Nigerians can relate to. With this strategy, you would cash in alot.

Awwwwh!! Thanks for the headup. Making t-shirts here in Nigeria is all part of the long term plan. But for now since we're just starting, we feel it makes business sense to focus on our core strength and value which is the creative designs and custom printing. As we grow we keep scaling till our brand becomes a street name.
