Dangote raised valid points and meant well for Nigeria and Nigerians. The point he raised that tally with my thought is especially the multiple taxes and rates imposed on small business by state governments in this country.

No incentive for SMEs yet they pay different rates and taxes that force many of them out of business. The small scale sector progress is equally important for the development of our economy.

Look at it this way:

Your clothes, shoes, under wears, cars, building materials for your house, writing materials etc are all imported by the same people you insult because we can't produce them here due to no enabling environment eg lack of power supply, no Government sponsorship, cost of labour etc. China has uninterrupted power supply. Their Government buys back any unsold manufactured goods and also support them financially.


With this kind of illiteracy Government in power, I wonder if we will be ripe to manufacture 10% of our goods even in 2050.
