GREEN-ONE Consult is a company with the sole intent of eradicating unemployment among youths in the country. It is a company with the vested interest in empowerment programs such as :skills acquisition. (GREEN-ONE VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING)
These program is set to train Nigerians on different skills,so as for them to be self employed.Youths between the ages of 18-45yrs are allowed to participate in these program.
We are focusing on the following skills;
* PHOTOGRAPHY AND CINEMATOGRAPHY Have you heard this expression before? “Nigerians are the most happiest people on earth” Well, it’s true! Nigerians celebrate EVERYTHING! Just name it! Hence, even as an uninvited photographer, you can make as much as N30,000 per week taking photographs at weddings, burials, house warming, e.t.c.
* SHOE MAKING Shoemaking is the process of making footwear.Originally, shoes were made one at a time by hand. Traditional handicraft shoemaking has now been largely superseded in volume of shoes produced by industrial mass production of footwear, but not necessarily in quality , attention to detail, or craftsmanship.Shoemakers may produce a range of footwear items, including shoes , boots, sandals, clogs and moccasins . Such items are generally made of leather, wood , rubber , plastic, jute or other plant material, and often consist of multiple parts for better durability of the sole, stitched to a leather upper.Trades that engage in shoemaking have included the cordwainer's and cobbler's trades. Today shoes are often made on a factory basis rather than a craft basis.
* EVENT DECORATION,PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT Youth will be able to learn how to decorate event halls stylishly taking cost, colors, trends and other factors into considerations. The opportunities abounding in these businesses are humongous.
* MOBILE PHONE REPAIRS Over 60,000,000 Nigerians use mobile phone. Participants will be trained on how to repair different brands of phone.
* COMPUTER NETWORKING AND SECURITY As the internet evolves and computer networks become bigger and bigger,network security has become one of the most important factors for companies to consider. Big enterprises like Microsoft are designing and building software products that need to be protected against foreign attacks.By increasing network security, you decrease the chance of privacy spoofing,identity or information theft and so on.Piracy is a big concern to enterprises that are victims of its effects.Anything from software, music and movies to books, games, etc. are stolen and copied because security is breached by malicious individuals.Because hacker tools have become more and more sophisticated, super-intelligence is no longer a requirement to hack someone’s computer or server. Of course, there are individuals that have developed sophisticated skills and know how to breach into a user’s privacy in several ways, but these types of individuals are less common than in the past.Today, most malicious users do not possess a high level of programming skills and instead make use of tools available on the Internet. * HAIRDRESSING AND MAKE UP Youth, especially women/ladies will be trained on how to do fascinating make up and for celebrants of any occasion.
* BEADS AND FIREWORKS Beads and wireworks are among the most intriguing and important symbols in African culture.Empower yourself by learning how to make beaded designs and wireworks
* ANKARA ACCESSORIES MAKING There has been a lot of talk about the recent proliferation of the Ankara fabric in the international fashion scene. The Ankara fabric is known to symbolise African fashion, thus,when used by a non-Africa fashion brand, the design is labelled ‘African-inspired’.Ankara gained fame and became very popular this decade. It became internationally recognized by the fashion industry of Africa at large, Europe, America & Asia. Today Ankara is trending all over the world and we can see people of different cultural backgrounds embracing this new trend. You can spot top celebrities rocking ankaras customes casually and also to big red carpet events. Also to fashion designers now use the ankara fabric to make amazing designs and styles that suits everyone.

ETC Liquid soap use in Nigeria is on the high use presently as many prefer to use it to wash cloth and kitchen utensils because it requires less energy. Liquid soap production in Nigeria is a good business one can venture into with less capital and start making huge money with few months.
* TILES PLASTERING In this chapter you'll learn how to patch up walls and floors, two elements of a home that take their bumps and knocks. Fortunately, with some inexpensive materials and some clever techniques, the blemishes to walls and floors are fairly easily fixed.
* PLUMBING The purpose of municipal water delivery systems is to transport potable water from a water treatment facility to residential consumers, for use as drinking water,water for cooking, water to maintain basic sanitation and other water use in a domestic environment. Water supply is also essential for business and industry to operate in a community. It is also important to supply water to properly located fire hydrants to provide community with an effective level of fire protection. This course will provide an overview on water sources, treatment and storage. The main focus will be on the description of the various components of distribution system, their function and their purpose. Detail explanation of the principle, design and installation of modern water reticulation and plumbing systems. Some details on the operation and maintenance of components in a distribution plumbing system are also covered.
* PAINTING Painting is an integral part of building as it brings out the beauty and also play protective roles.There are various types of paints like; emulsion, textured, satin emulsion, egg shell, matte emulsion, flex cote, gloss, road marking paint and so on. Paint production is a new way of empowerment now as painters even learn to mix paint. They collect money from their client, mix and use it personally. Others do direct project supply and reduce the cost from middleman.
* CATERING Are you interested in starting a catering service business from home? Do you need a sample catering business plan template? We run full time(for Two month-Monday,Wednesday,Friday) and part time (for three months-Saturday, Sunday).
Note At the completion of the training, outstanding participants in different categories will be introduce to an NGO that will set up a fully equipped workshop worth $5,000 dollars of an international business standard in the topmost area of your choice.
