There is a new way of defrauding innocent people invented by some bad Nigerians. They will advertise on forums and public groups on Facebook about SME data plan. They will tell you that you will pay after they have delivered the data to your phone.
They will send the message: Yello, You have received 5024.0MB in your SME Data Share bundle. It expires 02/06/2016. Dial *131*2*4# to activate. Thank you.

After dialling the code, it will ask you to enter the pin.

You would have to contact the seller for the pin, he would ask you to send the credit before sending the pin for activation. If you mistakenly send the credit, after confirming the airtime, he will withdraw the data and you will lose your money.

On nairaland, avoid ednasa with 07065416841. He is their ringleader.

Beware, nairalanders.

The guy uses bulk sms service to send the msg, change the sender name to anything that suites him, convinces the receiver into believing the msg originates from an original source. dt stuff asks for ur pin bt he demands u send d pin to him so dat he will load pin frm his side to activate ur line for data.
