?? If you are out on a date and you have to fart, do you hold it in or let it go. I did it before and it hurts. What if the other person smells it and makes a very angry comment. Do you make it seem like it was someone else or confess to it.

Not to fart. Especially if you're sitting/standing in one place. Excuse yourself and go to the loo. If it's like a walk or something in which you'll be moving away from the spot immediately, then you can chance it. Even though that's still pretty nasty. Especially for the people left behind at the spot.
