You must be an accomplice. Vouching for someone who's undergoing trial. Has she been proven guilty or not guilty? You worked with her, so what?
I have a case I'm trashing out now with all these greedy thieves in Ecobank calling themselves staff of the bank. They engage cheap lawyers to threaten customers of Ecobank who had issues with the bank's naira credit card from the year 2008.
Mind you, Ecobank have a Waiver to all its customers who had bad debts with the bank when using thier naira credit card as at then. After the customers paid an agreed amount monthly for a year. Ecobank cancelled the remaining bad debt and sent emails to thier customers confirming this.
Since then, no transaction or monthly balance email was sent to these customers by Ecobank. Only for some unscrupulous fellows to start calling and threatening these customers to pay thier indebtedness to a certain Law Firm, that the law firm is the one representing Ecobank.

Ecobank has never sent a mail, not once for the above new law firm development. Is this not the work of the staff of Ecobank?

So if you can vouch for her, them you either are an accomplice or you really never know her(in the true sense)

I'm not against jailing any criminal but what EFCC does is only targeting small criminals while the big political criminals who still billions walk free!

If this corrupt EFCC was actually doing its job, we would have thousands of thieving politicians behind bars! The thief, Ibrahim Lamorde, committed many crimes when he headed EFCC, he stole billions of seized money. Why is he not in jail?

Is EFCC job only made for northerners? Northerners are the most corrupt in this country and they're the main reason this country is a big mess today! EFCC is a toothless bulldog because it has only been headed by northerners! Why should we expect them to fight corruption? Why should they be the only ones heading EFCC? If EFCC was actually effective, most of the criminals it would jail would be northern thieves!

The truth is that, northerners do everything to make sure only their people head EFCC, because any outsider would have the guts to take them down one after the other.

We're not serious to end corruption in this country if we continue letting northerners control everything!

This is ridiculous. That judge is illiterate. With what i know about banks, they have recovered the money from that woman using there control unit or the police before arraigning her in the court of law. Banking system is very tight.

All that lady's savings cannot even exceed N5m.

EFCC on Thursday May 5, 2016 arraigned one Irene Okeoha before Justice S. C. Amadi of the State High Court, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State on one-count charge of stealing to the tune of eight million naira (N8, 000, 000. 00).
Okeoha, who is the customer service manager, Ecobank Plc, Hotel Presidential branch, allegedly defrauded the bank of the sum of eight million naira.
The charge read;

“That you, Mrs. Irene Okeoha on or about 17th February, 2016 at Hotel Presidential Port Harcourt, within the Port Harcourt Division of this Honorable Court did fraudulently steal the sum of N8 million only, property of Ecobank Plc and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 390 (9) of the Criminal Code CAP 37 Vol. 11 Laws of Rivers State of Nigeria 1999.”

When the charge was read to her, the accused pleaded not guilty and the prosecution counsel, Ben Ubi, urged the court to fix a date for the commencement of trial and to remand the defendant in prison custody.However, the defence counsel, B. Igeongei, prayed the court to grant his client bail as the accused was already on administrative bail by the EFCC.

Justice Amadi granted the defendant bail in the sum of N20 million and one surety in the like sum. The surety who must be resident within the jurisdiction of the court should possess a landed property to be verified by the prosecution. The Surety is also to depose to an affidavit of means.

Justice Amadi adjourned the case to May 25, 2016 for trial and ordered that the defendant to be remanded in prison custody pending the perfection of her bail.
