Yes, you're correct. Combined 6Gb.

#1400 for 3Gb per month and another #500 for 3Gb (all day during weekends) and 12am-5am ( weekdays ).

I'm not a heavy user and I seldom need the other 3Gb for #500, except on rare occasions.

What I'm saying in essence is that the fast speed of Glo and the option of the 3Gb for #500 ( when I need it ), makes Glo network very satisfactory to me. Obviously, Airtel does it for you.

I have no regret porting from MTN to GLO since January 6 this year. The incessant harrassment from MTN asking me to go register my sim after doing same at their office for over four times became unbearable. Glo data tarriff is fair enough and their platform which enables me add numbers of my loved ones to my line to enable them surf the internet is another laudable initiative from Glo. Though sometimes, their internet service misbehaves, it is better than MTN. Etisalat would need to review downwards their data tarriff to keep their customers and attract new ones.

On the other hand, MTN which began the quarter with 39,924,737 data customers ended it with 33,356,595. This indicates a massive loss of over 6.5million internet subscribers in just three months.

MTN and Glo employs almost the same amount of Nigerians, they both pay taxes. They support our youths (endorsement)... so why should anyone even keep givin a phuck if one is of South African origin or of Nigerian origin ?

Enough of the hate. GLO should upgrade.

The issue here is not about network speed but about data prices and affordability. I guess Glo is winning in that aspect. So even if glo is not that fast but at least most Nigerians can access the internet and make do with the speed.

Glo is truly the best, I buy a 100 card and i get 100MB, 100 to call all networks and 100 to call my fnf for four days. what could be more rewarding. I connect my mobile data to my laptop and i browse for a long time and as long as possible without any fear. Thanks Glo.
I tried just yesterday the MTN new data bundle for #100 for 30MB just to open a site and check my status, believe me, I got a message saying that the your data has been used up within one minute. Una be OLE. I can assure you that the data review by MTN without a corresponding review of their data consumption rate is another SCAM from MTN.

Who MTN epp? Glo spent 1.5 billion naira on endorsement of our artistes while MTN spent 500 milliom last year. Glo makes around 1.5 billion dollars, MTN makes 18 billion dollars with Nigeria giving it 32% yet they spent more on sponsoring artistes in south africa than in Nigeria,listed on SA stock exchange, pay dividend with Nigeria money they, evade the most tax here in Nigeria, give preferred contracts to South Africans etc who MTN epp? I prefer using my own Telco, the one that reps Nigeria because at the end of the day it has an effect on my country not MTN that sends 70% of their revenue from Naija to SA banks i prefer one that keeps it in a Naija bank atleast i might get a loan from that money one day.

Actually patience do pay my sister, but you could have been better off if you had done what I did! knowing fully well that Mtn will change someday with a good data plan, I simply relegated them to auxiliary network while glo became my preferred because I used #1000 for 1.5gig because I didn't root my phone. so now that Mtn is back with same value with some money as in my own case with glo subscription, I will simply go back to mtn because they are faster...what do you think about the arrangement?

they also forgot that 50% of those 80% leaves with the intention of never coming back after dealing with slow data speed for one week. most endured upto one month cos that's how long it takes glo to download a file of 500mb

Blame MTN for the drop in number of internet subscribers, they think they can be doing any with the subscribers, cheating on them and offering unfair prices. That's why people are leaving then to other reliable networks.

Why can't Etisalat open their eyes and do something about their unfriendly data bundles? I've been using them since 2009 and can't stand any other unstable or slow network .

MTN is offering 2k for 3.5gb and I'm using Etisalat 2k for just 2gb. Why would I use their new 3.5k for 4.5gb when glo offers 3k for 6gb . I think they should have a rethink about their outrageous charges or is there something the other networks enjoy that they are denied?
