I have been using the Redmi 5 Plus 4gb/64gb (Chinese version) for a little over 2 months now. Before now, it was an Infinix phone, Hot 2 to be precise.

I have enjoyed the device to a large extent but with some reservations.
1. I always have to dial a ussd code every time I need to switch back to 3G network. It makes no sense.
2. I would always have network losses every now and then. I don't know if it's a bug in the latest update.
3. Because of the rom I'm using, I can't access the themes and fonts on the theme store and it's annoying asf. Maybe when I find someone who can help me flash the phone to a global rom it'll get better.

I like the speed, the long lasting battery and some other key features though.

We all know Samsung flagships have good cameras, but I think seyema made a mistake. Maybe he meant to say MI mix, which launched with mid range internals but definitely not the mix 2s.

Mix 2s camera is in the league of s9

All phone camera na wash..

I shoot in Manual, Camera is Camera and phone will be phone..

Low light pictures always suffer.. SLRs trump because the can use big Flash, and they have better Lenses and Sensor Sizes..

Mi Mix 2s or S9 cannot provide what a 200USD Nikon or Canon Camera will do, Forget all those images you watch on YouTube when they do picture comparison..

If it's indeed Chinese rom, you should be able to access both themes and fonts, please screenshot your about phone.

Now, let me clarify. I can download themes and fonts. The issue is that when I see or hear a banging theme or font and I search for it on the store, I don't see nothing. It says it can't find it. That's the issue I have with it. I'm logged into my Mi Account.

I think that's one of the limitation of Chinese rom, most themes available on the global rom theme store aren't there. Experienced same when I briefly used it on my redmi 5.

dt aafont and mobyfont stuff aint supported on china rom i think... Not all themes are available on china theme store..
