On the contrary I've heard of acquiring cheaper dollar rates. The initial post that resulted into our back & forth exchange of opinions only centered on a promo price on AE as against buying in Nigeria.

So you see why I highlighted the mention of cheap dollar which was not up for discussion.

Remote shutter, remote music control, normal fitness tracking, bigger screen estate which makes navigation and notification easier, and it's even cheaper, comes with extra strap, i don't have to unstrap to charge also i know the battery life is no where near the mi band 4 own but i'm fine with that

I need opinions on getting MI 9 battery, please. Can't seem to find the oem one anywhere. Is it safe to use replacement batteries that aren't made by Xiaomi? For instance I came across one made by Losoncoer.

yea, sadly it is like that for most budget "round" smartwatch,I think it's more expensive making a round screen. I'll be sticking to a dark watch face which should make the issue not so obvious.

It's strongly recommended you replace with an original Xiaomi made battery, except you're convinced with other users' review of the performance of the Losoncoer battery

if you can't get the oem one, read reviews and additional reviews well. Losoncoer is very popular on aliexpress so they must be doing something right.
