Its even a life sentence... which in my opinion encourages suicide.

So if I was about committing suicide and someone caught me and talked me out of the act, I'll still go to jail for life... our laws are really obsolete.

Suicide "attempters" should not be punished rather they should be supported medically and otherwise,
